Happy Catholic School's Week
“The Catholic school’s proper function is to create for the school community a special atmosphere animated by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity, to help youth grow according to the new creatures they were made through Baptism as they develop their own personalities, and finally to order the whole of human culture to the news of salvation so that the knowledge the students gradually acquire of the world, life and man is illumined by faith.”
– His Holiness Pope Paul VI, October 28, 1965
We are so blessed to be a part of your child's journey through Catholic school. We celebrate, this week especially, the gift of Catholic Education. We walk side by side as we teach and love our children. Thank you for choosing the gift of Catholic Education for your family.

Students will continue to learn about the first people who settled in Arizona and their contributions. We are taking notes, reading from our textbook, and will work on in-class projects. There will be a chapter test in about a month on these lessons.
Math
Students will understand and solve 2-digit dividend division problems with a remainder.
They will be assessed on the x8s on Thursday.
Science
We will be working on Chapter 5: Lesson 4 - Changes Caused by the Weather. This is the last lesson of Chapter 5, and the students will be assessed on all four lessons next week. Students were instructed to save all open-book Science packets from Chapter 5 to use as study guides. THE TEST WILL NOT BE OPEN BOOK.
Religion
We will be reviewing the SLEs as we celebrate National Catholic School's Week. We will continue with the Sacrament review. Students need to recall the Sacraments of Initiation, Sacraments of Healing, and Sacraments of Service.
